Today is the first day where it really feels like Fall is upon us and frankly, I couldn’t be happier about it.  While the darker mornings and evenings are always a tough adjustment, it means a bit cooler weather (and cooler gym), tons of parking and no one to bother us at P360 all Fall and Winter.  No kids camp, junior lifeguards or softball nonsense.  Just training.  And lots of it.

The Fall and Winter are the best months to get results for yourself because you don’t have any distractions which Summer and Spring tempt us.  Historically, those are the months when I have seen clients and members make the biggest leap forward and I am excited to see what happens for the rest of this month and October.

**NEW** Membership Options

We are really excited for this announcement as we think the new options are going to bring a solution to something a lot of our members have asked us about.  Here’s what the new tier of memberships is going to look like.

Super Unlimited, $159* – This will be an upgrade on the unlimited membership and it will get you access to absolutely all of the classes we do on an unlimited basis . This means you would get yoga, stand up paddle and anything else we might introduce.  It also includes the meal plan.

  • Unlimited Daily Challenge Classes
  • Unlimited Boot Camps
  • Unlimited Yoga for Athletes
  • Unlimited Stand-Up Paddle
  • Unlimited Meal Plan Access

Unlimited, $139 – The main membership will stay the same.  This gives you access to the following.

  • Unlimited Daily Challenge Classes
  • Unlimited Boot Camps

If you are currently on free trial or have considered joining P360 then I would step on it.  This price will be going up for all new members October 1.

U-Call-It, $99 – Since we are starting to offer more training options (yoga, SUP) we wanted to try and figure out a way to include it in one cost for folks that want to routinely attend them.  This option allows you to pick any three classes that you want.

  • Daily Challenge
  • Boot Camp
  • Yoga for Athletes
  • SUP

You pick up to three and you get one of each per week. The only rules are that you are not allowed to pick three Daily Challenges and once you decide which combo of classes you want, your membership is set.

This is perfect for folks who want to do two Daily Challenges and a Boot Camp, or perhaps one Yoga and two Boot Camps all on a budget.

So, there you have it.  Those are our new options.  Considering the competition charges approximately $150-$199 for unlimited of one type of class and offers none of the other training options, we feel confident in presenting you guys with the best value in greater San Diego.

You are free to upgrade or alter your membership to any of these three any time over the next two weeks.

*If you are on pre-launch membership, we have upgrade options for you as well.  Just shoot us an email and we’ll send you that info.

Surf n’ Turf SUP

In light of the daylight becoming an issue and no longer wanting to move Friday night classes, we are making the executive decision to switch Surf n’ Turf SUP Boot Camps to Saturday late-morning.

You’ll notice it on the schedule for 11 am this week.

‘Lean & Mean’ Meal Plan

As a reminder, we have the P360 ‘Lean & Mean’ Meal Plan live on the website and FREE for another week!

The goal was to provide you guys an easy to follow, affordable meal plan that actually tastes good and removes the daily guesswork from your decision making.

This week’s meal plan will be live by this afternoon.  After this week, it costs just $9 to add it to your plan or you can upgrade to the Super Unlimited and have everything.

I know of a couple folks who have been following it and the feedback has been great so far.

Megan May

We are very pleased to announce the start date of our newest trainer, Megan May!  She will be starting Friday, September 30th and will be helping us part-time every Friday and Saturday.  We needed someone to balance out the constant testosterone leading all of our classes and Megan is a perfect fit.  She is incredibly knowledgeable and is the definition of practice what you preach.

Expect to be motivated and pushed during her classes!  She is a former college athlete and has experience working with advanced professional athletes all the way down to first timers brand new to exercise.

We think you guys are going to like her and are excited all around at the knowledge and experience she brings to Performance360.

Member Shout Outs!

We have a record 15 members on the shout out board this week!

Good Eats!: Mediterranean Kabobs

This week’s recipe is a simple one.

  • 6 oz. lamb or steak cubes
  • 6 oz. baby tomatoes
  • 1 cubed green pepper
  • 1 cubed onion

Dice ’em up, skewer ’em and then toss them on the grill or sautee pan.  Brush with olive oil, salt and pepper while they are cooking and enjoy.  Simple, easy and on track for your goals.

What’s the Deal With: Insulin

Insulin, in my humble opinion, is the single most important hormone in our body and has the single biggest effect on body composition.  If you learn to properly control it then you will be in complete control of your body and your long-term health.

Training Split

This week’s training split for Daily Challenges.
