Please Meet The Innocence Project
As a company, partnering with causes that we felt important or passionate about has always been a part of how we’ve operated on some level. Some years we are more active than others, and some years we’ve absolutely killed it as a community. In the years where we fail to be as charitable as we like, it’s nothing more than poor prioritization. I wish I had a better reason than that, but that’s the truth.
As we begin to get our feet back underneath us after the past year, we’re reintroducing charitable causes back into our operations and ensuring that they stay. To start, one of the foundations we’ve come to know quite well and support since fundraising for it back in 2020 is The Innocence Project.
The Innocence Project, founded in 1992 by Peter Neufeld and Barry Scheck at Cardozo School of Law, exonerates the wrongly convicted through DNA testing and reforms the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice.
Please learn more about their great work here. They are also heavily involved in the Netflix documentary, The Innocence Files. We’ll be donating 100% of proceeds from all Grassroots February enrollment straight to our friends at TIP.
Thank you.
