When we opened our first physical gym in 2011, we were laughed at by the fitness establishment. A truly independent, local gym could not be successful against corporate giants.

People took their shots. Quickly labeled and judged us as a knockoff that wouldn’t last.

Only our members thought otherwise, and they spread the word.

More converts. More believers. Quickly catching up and passing all of these gyms we weren’t supposed to compete with, all by offering premium programming and coaching for a fraction of the cost the Goliaths were charging.

People first. Profit second.

Owners Dave Thomas and Bryan Pritz saw a marketplace that was craving change. For someone to come in, toss norms aside and do things like prioritize quality over mindless sweat. Like offering memberships under $100.

Nearly five years later, those who were laughing aren’t finding it nearly as funny. Our members are spreading the word with their results daily, and our movement forges onward.
