We are very excited to announce a new Member of the Month award that we’re giving to one man and woman each month for exemplary commitment. The criteria is based on a lot of factors. What did you accomplish in the month? Do you have a good attitude? Do you complain? Are you on time? Are you willing to push yourself? Level of fitness is not factored into the winner whatsoever, what we’re looking for are men and women who best embody what we feel is the P360 way regardless of what they may or may not accomplish physically.
And, last month’s winners are…
Corey Grad!
Most notable March accomplishments:
- 415# deadlift @ 165 lbs
- 195# OH Squat
- 295# Back Squat (since broken)
- March Attendance: 22/26
Since joining the gym in October, Corey has done nothing but show up on time, work extremely hard, follow instructions, listen to feedback and follow every ounce of the program.
When Corey started at the gym, he could barely finish workouts and in March he became just the sixth man at Performance360 to deaflift over 400# at a body weight under 170 pounds. He is one of just a handful of people in both fat loss and strength clubs as he has shed 20 pounds off of his frame in the process.
We are extremely proud of Corey’s development and while he still has many goals he wants to cross off of his list, with his current attitude and work ethic we have no doubt that he will reach them.
Get to Know Corey
Melissa Bishop!
Most notable March accomplishments:
- 260# deadlift @ ~120 lbs
- 17:01 “Drunk” time w/ 20 KG kettlebells (1st place)
- March Attendance: 22/26
Melissa started at Performance360 in February of 2012 exclusively in the Outdoor Challenges. When she started, Melissa did not have much of a weightlifting background and was pretty mortified of what we did in those “hardcore indoor classes”.
Melissa rarely missed an Outdoor Challenge during her first few months and changed her body very noticeably. She increased her athleticism and performance and once she began Daily Challenges her performance was really able to shine. Over the past few months, Melissa has seen her strength and timed workouts go from average to outstanding, recently setting PRs in her deadlift, squat, jerk and kettlebell swings.
She still has not fully gotten over her here fear of dropping 260 pounds after she picks it up :)
She is living proof that you don’t need a background filled with athletic achievements or a hardcore attitude to reach an elite level of accomplishment for women, as well as proof what heavy lifting can do for women’s fat loss.
