Movin’ The Charts – Christina Truong: “I’ve Been Able To Do Things I Never Thought I Could”

Member Christina T. has been getting some outstanding results of late, hitting PRs at the end of every cycle, and dramatically re-composing her physique. We’re excited to share a glimpse into her approach and what’s been working.

1. Tell us about the results that you’re excited about.

I am the most excited to see hard work paying off. I think it’s taken a lot of patience to stick to healthy habits so it’s EXCITING to see results! I made a goal to see how much body fat percentage I could lose in a month & a half. I was surprised at my weight when I stepped on the scale, although I’d been working out consistently I weighed in at the heaviest I’d ever been in my life. I wasn’t shooting towards any specific number and just tried to take it day by day.

After a month and a half I stepped on that scale surprised myself again! I’d lost 7 lbs and 4% body fat percentage.

2. What daily habits are behind the approach that’s working, both in training and nutrition.

They were not wrong when they said that diet and nutrition is the most important part in your plan to achieving your goals. I started meal planning for the first time and I think that has made a huge difference. I’ve also made it a point to close my activity rings or do something active at the very least for 30 minutes a day (sometimes that means jumping jacks at 10 pm or a night walk).

3. What are you embracing in your fitness now that perhaps you were hesitant about before?

I’ve made the time and look forward to coming to the gym every single day. I try to go into every single workout with the mindset that I am going to push myself as hard as I possibly can. I’ve noticed that about others in the gym as well and I think that’s really cool. The P360 atmosphere is unlike any other and I’ve been able to do things now that I never thought I could do before.

3. Are there any P360 Coaches you’d like to shout out that have been particularly helpful for you? 

I would like to shout out Coach Nate! Whether he is in the workout or coaching the workout he always makes sure I’m pushing myself and helps to build my confidence. Coach Ashley has also been super helpful. Most importantly, the friends I have made in the gym have made all the difference. I feel like I am a part of something bigger than myself and there is nothing that beats working out with supportive friends that push you!
