What is The Movement Fix?
It is a video series where we will be addressing and improving any single aspect of our training. It may be mechanics of a major movement, ways to get more out of smaller movements, how to efficiently pace your workout or any instance we can spend a few minutes educating you.
What will today’s episode cover?
Today will be a two part instructional focusing on breathing and the eccentric portion of the movement. First, we will answer, “When do I breathe on the deadlift?”
Second, there are many correct ways to train the deadlift, so this post is by no means exclusive, it’s simply meant to shed light on the benefits of tension and focusing on a controlled lowering of the bar (eccentric) rather than a cras.
What happens if I don’t watch?
You’ll not deadlift as efficient or as safe as you could be.
