MON: Thank You for 8 Great Years

We have a running joke that is no longer funny because of how much we’ve overused it,  but remains true regardless.

The joke is that every single year, either Pritz or myself will text the other one, “Oh Frank, you forgot your own birthday?” with a gif of Frank the Tank, in reference to the fact that another year went  by when we did not remember the gym’s anniversary. Aside from our one year anniversary, we have forgotten every single year to follow.

True story.

It’s very cool in one sense. That we continue to have a membership consistent enough to allow us to remain in business. That, we do not take for granted at all. However, it’s not really all that cool in any other sense. At least not to us. Our goal was never just to remain open and grind to keep doors open. Our goal was, and continues to be, to change the game with gym membership.

So to be perfectly candid, that is why we lose track of milestones that only recognize existence. It’s not that we don’t recognize and appreciate it, it’s just that we don’t view gym ownership through the lens of survival.

While we don’t feel like we are 100% where we want to be, that’s where our focus continues to lie everyday. We are always looking at how we can improve and better your experience here, and the downside of that is we lose track of the stuff worth celebrating. Like being open for eight years with a membership as incredible as the one we have here.

So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you first and foremost to our current members, and thank you right behind them to all of the members no longer here. Your support laid the foundation to where we are today, and without every person who has come through these doors, Performance360 wouldn’t exist in its current version without all of you.

Thank you.
