MON: OB October Members of the Month
Meghen Lord
Meghen has been a member of P360 for almost 2 years, and since OB opened a permanent fixture among the community. She is a natural athlete and a very hard worker, so we can always count on Meghen setting the standard in any workout and encouraging others along the way. We’ve seen Meghen start trying her hand at the advanced side of the board, dabbling in the time challenges, tapping into a competitive edge and actively seeking improvement through greater challenge. Through her time at P360 we’ve also seen amazing physical changes, putting on lean muscle, and looking damn good. Congratulations to Meghen on all of her hard work and results! We are super excited to see her smash her 2019 goals!
How old are you, and where are you from?
I’m thirty years young. I grew up in Vacaville, California and moved out to San Diego 11 years ago.
What do you do for work?
I’m a hairstylist and I run my own business ‘Meghen Lord Beauty Specialist.’ I work out of a salon in Point Loma ‘Dye To Style’
What do you do for fun outside of P360?
I love anything outdoors, playing in the waves or riding a bike around San Diego. I’m back in school working towards a nutrition career and actually love being a student. It’s been a fun experience so far.
How has P360 affected your life?
I have become not only physically stronger but mentally stronger since joining P360. I love how challenging it is and how accomplished I can feel by 7 am each day.
What is your favorite, and least favorite exercises?
Haha this answer came so easily to me. I really dislike thrusters. Do a few and you will understand. I really like American sit ups, floor wipers, and Bulgarian split squats.
What is the hardest thing you have done, physically, in the gym?
We had a workout where there was 3 minutes on the clock and you had to complete 1 or 2 specific movements in each grouping and if you didn’t you had to run a specific distance. I’m pretty sure 30 burpees was 3rd on the list out of 6 groupings… I completed the workout without running.
What is your most proud achievement at P360?
Attending 6 am workout every weekday. ;P
What is a hidden talent of yours?
I can be pretty funny

What is the most valuable piece of coaching you’ve received?
It’s hard to select one piece of coaching. I do recall a coach mentioning not comparing yourself with others achievements and you will ‘become more’ in time. I really like that. It’s hard not to look around and compare. The more you focus on your own accomplishments the better you get and stronger you become.

I want to get accepted into San Diego States Nutrition program for my bachelor’s degree. And have killer abs. ;)
Brian Lehtinen
Brian joined P360 OB on the first day we opened. From first meeting Brian, you know he’s a hard worker that can have a good time with anyone. He always asks for coaching, never getting complacent in his movements or progress, and also not shy to joke around with folks and vocally request a song that’s a little more metal. Brian gets after his strength, pushes is pace, landed himself on the 1 Mile Run leaderboard, and consistently pushes himself to the front of the pack. We are always stoked to have him in class, and really proud of his progress and accomplishments in and out of the gym. Congratulations Brian!
