MON: Coaches Leveling Up

Those of you who follow us on the Gram have already seen the posts, but we wanted to take a minute and recognize two of our coaches for their hard work over the past few months.

As you may or may not know, we have our own internal coaching certification that has a Level 1, 2, and 3 and each level is accessible only after you have coached a certain number of classes, making it one of a kind in it’s combination of technical knowledge + practical experience and application.

Recently, Coach Chris completed his LEVEL 3 project which asks coaches to display their deep understanding of movement faults, tactile cuing, program design, and leadership. It is a very thorough project and generally takes a few months to complete.

Coach Mark completed his LEVEL 2 project which asks coaches to display the same proficiency, but in a slightly less involved, yet still rigorous manner. It involves a project as well as an in-person seated exam and Mark displayed lots of ability in both.

Our culture here is designed to weed out those who want status without the work, and to reward those who are truly committed to what it means to be a Coach. Rest assured, your team here have all been giving many opportunities to step aside and let someone else come in. Those currently standing are those who have, and continue to answer the challenge.

We’re super proud of both, so please congratulate them when you see them.
