Q&A

How old are you and where are you from?
I am 26 and from Arlington, VA.

How long have you lived in San Diego and what brought you here?
I have lived in San Diego for 11 months.  I moved out here to continue to do what I love in one of the nicest places in the country. So far it has been everything I expected and more. Wouldn’t change a thing.

When did you start coaching at the gym?
I started officially coaching about 8 months ago on December 4, 2017 after attending the Winter 2017 Coaches Academy.

What do you hope to accomplish with someone when coaching?
On a short-term basis, I hope to help others realize how physically and mentally capable they are when it comes to fitness.  Once they can crack that, we start to see huge improvements.  On a long-term basis, I hope to develop trust with everyone that I coach.  I know that as a staff, we have a lot to offer.  If the trust is there, gainz will be made (of all kinds).

Describe your own personal philosophies with fitness and nutrition?
I believe that healthy balance of fitness and nutrition will most certainly improve one’s quality of life.  But in order to be successful, there must be a certain level of commitment accompanied by realistic goals.  It’s hard getting bigger, stronger, faster, or losing weight. Work hard and stick with it, and you will be glad you did.

Where are you going locally to destroy food, and what are you ordering?
I am going to Fat Sal’s and getting the fat buffalo sandwich with a side of seasoned fries with fat sauce.
