How to Return to the Gym Post COVID Hiatus

Many of you guys are continuing to trickle back into membership after an extended hold, so first, welcome back two. Two, let’s get you started on the right foot.  Many folks struggle in getting back into a routine because they aim for the summit, head to the top on a full sprint, and end up turning back at the first switchback because they went too hard. The key is to start slow. Set your goal to attend twice per week your first four weeks. Remove all of the pressure of having to workout every single day, and set a goal you know you can reach.

Don’t track. No numbers nonsense. Just focus on feeling good, energized, and healthier.

The next four week chunk, shoot for three times per week.

By the second month, you should start to you feel like your regular old self again mentally, and be back on the right track towards your usual consistency.
