Fact of the Day: Plyometric work (also called “reactive”, includes jumping and throwing of any kind) specifically targets just our type-II muscle fibers. Type-II fibers are responsible for strength and muscle tone, they are the precise type of muscle fibers that you want to develop if going for a leaner look.
We’re returning to our old friends the Deck of Cards workout today, however the format will be slightly different. Instead of doing a flat 10 reps of every exercise, you’re going to do the number of reps that corresponds with the card (i.e., you pull a four, you do four OH squats, etc.)
We have some weights, med balls, kettlebells, the whole nine yards with it today.
