When we brain stormed the idea of a 30-Day, balls to the wall personal challenge we didn’t really know what to expect.  We didn’t know how much it would be embraced, how well everyone would stick to it and honestly, what could truly be accomplished in just four short weeks.

After seeing the dust settle after everyone’s weigh-ins and retests 30 days later, to call this challenge successful would be a massive understatement.  Here are some facts of the P360 October 30 Day Challenge before we go into individual details.

  • 94.5% of participants lost weight.

  • 49% lost more than 5 pounds.

  • Average strength across the gym increased 29.62%

  • 31% of participants accomplished a simultaneous strength gain of 20% and 5+ pound fat loss.

A few additional exercise and fat loss science points to consider.

  • Fat loss occurs at a more rapid pace and in greater volume the more you have to lose.  If you are a 120lb. girl in relatively decent shape, you are most likely not going to experience 10 pounds of fat loss in 30 days, nor should that be a goal.  Similarly, a 175 pound man is most likely going to experience a 5-10 pound fat loss depending on strictness of diet.

  • Strength goes way up for beginners and comes in smaller increments for veterans.  If you went up at all and have been lifting with us for longer than eight months, that is outstanding.  If you went up 5%, even better.  10%, even more outstanding and anything above that means you just slayed it.
  • Go to the store and put apples into a bag until it equals the amount of weight you lost.  Hold it up, look at it, and picture that as body fat.  Five pounds is very significant.

On to the categories and individual results.  These represent the entire population that stuck with this through the end, closed out their weight with a final weigh-in and re-tested the categories below.  If you stopped half way, quit altogether or didn’t really follow the free meal plan we gave you, well then it sucks to be you right now.  No pity here.
